YA YA YING , MOD , ANN, this is another group that goes towards identity of modernisation due to its influx of western pop of soul. In a way it has copied the Bristish spice girls, just like angies and thai spice.
Here is a cover of the english song Mambo no.5. Describing that Thai culture has been mordernised with the west, the lyrics are converted from the original in which now the girl is the one that is flirting. This could show an identity of rising of females and feminisim to a level higher than the west, the changing roles of women in thailand is not stereotypical of western stereotypes of domestic workers that are submissive.
